This is me with my Mum, 76 years youngish. Mum is on her third fight with cancer. She is inspirational not because she has cancer but because she tries every day to dust it off her shoulders and have a good day. Her mind has always leant towards the side of “glass half full”.
She has nursed her sister, Mum and then lastly her husband through the hells of cancer and still sees the beauty in her life lived and the living now. She has amazing friendships that are long lived and since permanently moving to the NT 4 years ago has many new beautiful friends and that, I can say is because of her positive nature and loving to have a good old laugh, she doesn’t mind a chat either. She’s not a frail old thing, not in my eyes. She’s a tough old duck that just gets on with it.
