The seniors in this photo are an incredible group.
We all met at beginners Golf at the beginning of the year, and we have been playing once or twice a week and every public holiday together. They are determined, motivated and can make us laugh until we’re crying happy tears. They have proven age is no limit to learning something new and to never give up, no matter how many golf balls you lose. I have learnt patience and to just live in the moment of the game.
They all have adult children and generously give sound advice on navigating the ups and downs of tantrums and teenagers. I look forward to our chit chats and drinks after a game. They have grown to become my people and who I surround myself to keep me grounded.
