Our senior Territorian is not a grandparent or carer but Marcia, our neighbour, who a is kind, generous, supportive and considerate person
My sister and I have been going there for as long as we can remember. She has encouraged us to work consistently on projects and has kept our results intact – such as my Lego rugby field and my sister’s artwork. Visits to the wharf, the movies and shopping are fun activities with Marcia. Favourite dinners are always cooked along with ice cream!
If one of our parents were not available we can count on Marcia being there for us in any emergency.
Marcia is truly a good person of the Territory, but most important is that she loves us.
